News March 31, 2022 - Code Fixin' and Bug Squishin'

Hey all,
I Figured I'd give another update on the site progress and a bit of an explanation as to how something as simple every bit a site update tin go so horribly incorrect. :)

Progress and then far...
I've had quite a few folks report glitches (some minor, some major). I've been doing my best to answer and become the problems fixed every bit quick as possible. Typically around an hour or so.
That being said, I remember most of the major bugs take been squashed!
Of course we all know that now that I've said that, some major glitch will pop upwardly. ;)

And then how did the update get and so broken? Well... actually a couple different means.
The major one was trying to get the old distance learning working with the new distance learning. Essentially, code wise, they are completely different. So I did what anyone would do... duct tape them together. ;)
Everything really was working pretty proficient in all my testing, but testing in a controlled environment and with thousands of users are two completely unlike beasts. :/

The residuum of the problems were mostly due to poor choices and advice on my part.
For example, on the onetime site everything you created (reviews, tests, etc) was added to your favorites list.
On the new site, everything you create is added to the "sheets I've fabricated" listing (and the favorites is just for favorites). So I had a few people contact me nearly not being able to find their created material. Hashtag fail... as the kids say. ;)

Simply in any example I'm still working abroad trying to make it better than e'er. if you lot happen to notice something non working right or something wonky or only have a proposition, please permit me know.

News March 29, 2022 - A Rocky Commencement

Hey all,
Well... that didn't go as smoothly every bit planned. :)
Despite several months of testing, the site apparently had a TON of bugs and glitches. That'due south the disadvantage of being 1 person testing tens of thousands of things, I guess.

On the plus side though I've been fixing and tweaking and coding non-stop and I think things are in a lot better shape.

News March 27, 2022 - Site Update and Overhaul

Don't y'all love when websites randomly change stuff? ;)
But seriously I've been working a huge site update for a few months now which is what you're seeing now. Then what's changed?

• All the worksheets have been recoded and updated.

  One of the biggest changes was recoding the worksheets. "Why bother doing that?" You lot may ask. Well the short version is that it will make bug checking much easier and brand updates MUCH faster. In add-on I've synced the sheets between all the languages. So problem #one on the english version volition exist the aforementioned on vietnamese, spanish, high german, etc. It should make ESL material much easier to use. I also added a few more options on the 'create new canvas'. Y'all tin set up sheet orientation at present and alter the language.

• The Create-A-Review / Examination / Flash Cards has been updated.

  Without going into as well many nerd details, I've set up information technology up so updates / changes volition be much easier to implement and cloth across languages can exist shared easier... in theory. ;)
